I have to admit Sears is the worst job I've ever had. The pay was terrible so were the hours. To makes matters worst, no benefits and horrible managers, they work you like a dog and yet only pay commission with no hourly. I was suppose to be in the better position too, salesman, yea right. I started smoking too thanks to that piece of shit corporation, I'm surprised is still in business. Having some flashbacks better stop writing now goodbye.
For me, it would have to be agricultural field work. Having to keep up with a machine running at 5 miles per hour as you bend down, cutting the roots of each vegetable, grab said vegetable, stand up to literally throw the object on a bag, move two feet forward, repeat for up to 12 hours a day. Great workout, bad back pain and sore hands. All done with no shade under the beautiful sun with temperatures of up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Minimum wage and no benefits.
Definitely being an Instructor on a Private Sports Club...
One would think that a place in which people pay membership would:
1: Pay their instructors decently.
2: Make sure members aren't just douche-bags.
Boy have I ever been so wrong...
Apparently the "I pay a Membership" excuse is the best for people to not only treat every worker as garbage, but also enough to get into their work area and do what they please.
At least some of the Kids in the club appreciate it; and well, the spoiled ones will grow to be just like their parents.
And well, it doesn't matter how many people take the class, or how many other people you have to deal with... The pay stays the same.
And they expect you to have that fake smile all day long with that?
A fast food joint. Man the cooking area was too small we were all crammed and it was hot as hell. Hamburgers were about 60 cents so people would order damn 30 at a time. I quit after about a month in a not so professional manner I thought I was gonna get chocked out by the managers cus they were ghetto. What did they expect from a dude straight out of high school haha. It was a good learning experience for sure.
I bought a piece of crap dlp tv way back when there. The sneaky sales dude made it seem like it was the latest in technology little did I know it was out of date and he was obviously trying to get that shit out the store. I bought it on credit and I probably payed at least 1k more than it was worth what with all their high ass interest rates and shoddy policies. Ever since then I haven't bought anything there. Fuck that store and fuck you for working there hahaha.
This is the only job I never had the balls to work in. My respects for the people that can handle this shit.
I know what you mean, I think you're talking about "Hamburger Stand" the manager till this day still works there and it's still ghetto as fuck. I had an interview once there and she was a mean bitch from the start, she straight up told me she was going to treat me like shit lol I admit, I still go and eat the burgers because I think they're delicious. Anyways, fucking horror story man.
Worked in the onion and in the corn and it was fucking terrible! I almost died and got paid like 40 bucks a day. No job is worth dying for that amount of money or any! I also couldn't walk for a week due to back pain from all the hard work. Luckily, my mom had painkillers and I made it thanks to those magic pills. I admit, this job made me feel very underemployed. It was one of the worst jobs I've ever had. People were also on drugs all day due to the extreme heat and the heavy work. Anyways, my respects for those that work those jobs, hopefully thinks get better for everybody.
